jio — curated things to do in Singapore

Help

jio shows about ten events worth your time in Singapore each week — concerts, exhibitions, food, sport, film and one-offs — on the website, in a Thursday email and in the iOS app (App Store). Quiet week, fewer events: we never pad the list.

How events are picked

Every night jio reads public listings from about twenty Singapore sources — ticketing sites, venues, galleries, race calendars. An AI model (Anthropic's Claude) filters out corporate events, promos and filler, writes the one-line descriptions and ranks the week; we fix and add picks by hand when it gets something wrong. Events link to the organiser or ticketing site; jio doesn't sell tickets.

Something's wrong or missing

Dates, venues and prices come from the organisers' listings, so always check the ticket page before you go. If a listing is wrong, or we've missed something great, tell us: hello@jiosg.app.

Notifications (iOS app)

  • At most two a week: the Thursday list, plus the occasional heads-up about an exceptional event, if you turn those on.
  • Change them in the app's Settings screen, or turn them off in iOS Settings → Notifications → jio.
  • Tapping a jiosg.app link opens it in the app when it's installed.

The Thursday email

  • Sign up at the bottom of the home page. It arrives every Thursday evening, Singapore time.
  • Every email has an unsubscribe link; you can sign up again any time.
  • Not arriving? Check your spam folder, and add the sender to your contacts.
